I am thankful for...

... the plane ticket that my mom bought so I could come home and be with my family.
... a lifetime of happy Thanksgiving memories.
... the sunshine after the rain.
... Carmel Valley: the hills, the oaks, the smell, and the home-ness.
... seeing old friends and the feeling that even though its been months (or years) we can pick up right where we left off.
... friends in general, who make me laugh, and support me when I need it.
... giggles.
... Bennett, for having a birthday at Thanksgiving time so that I could see the whole family.
... music, chatter, and pumpkin cake.
... the holiday season, and all its reminders of how many blessings God has given me.

Happy Thanksgiving! Love and blessings!

We're thankful for you! (although Ally did wonder momentarily why you only mentioned Bennett...)

Thanks for making the trip and for being there during our sad time. Can't wait for Christmas!

I am thankful for all of those things too. Though short, it was such a nice visit. Thanks for putting the little guy's name on your list. I know he is thankful for you, too. Just this morning, he asked me to call Coco (it was 6:30am, so I did not).

I can't wait for Christmas either!

We are thankful that you are part of our family, and it was a very special Thanksgiving being home and travelling to Bennett's party!I am thankful for our whole family, especially as we are growing in '09. We will all miss the beautiful "Shelby", and remember her always!

Thanks, everyone. I am thankful for you guys too.

Tara: I meant that I was thankful to Bennett for having a birthday on Thanksgiving so that we got to see the Markleys. I thought that I was clear about being thankful for everyone else in general. If I listed everyone I love and why I'm thankful for them, it would be an extremely long blog. And "giggles" was mostly referring to your children, if it makes you feel better. :)

Sorry - I thought the "momentarily" would make it clear that she figured it out, it was just funny that her first comment was "why is she just thankful for Bennett" followed by...ooohhh (the unspoken - I get it).

Ha ha ok. I just wanted to make sure we were clear. I am an equal rights auntie.

I hope you guys are doing ok, and that the Christmas spirit is helping soothe the ache. Love you.
